Ever the showman and not one to shy away from controversy, the latest debacle involving McGregor is another circus, and we’re loving the ride. After being rumoured to be in hiding following an alleged physical altercation with a patron at a bar last week, McGregor appeared in Blanchardstown District Court in Dublin on unrelated speeding charges.Given the momentum that the alleged bar-fight repercussions has gathered, McGregor does not seem fazed at all.Recently, Conor’s father Tony was overly dismissive of the claims issuing the below to the Irish Mirror:
“That’s all nonsense that is.” Tony McGregor said. “Absolute nonsense. It’s an absolute nonsense story. It’s grown legs and it’s getting that ridiculous – it’s become funny.“We have nothing to fear here whatsoever. There’s no one after us for anything. We’re a law-abiding family and we’ve stayed a law-abiding family. This hasn’t stopped McGregor adding fuel to the fire as speculation mounts based largely on hearsay. As he left court to a packed media gallery, McGregor is scene to pull his hoodie up over his mouth as if to conceal his identity. He then hops in his black sports car from which he says ‘Come and get me’ to the waiting press pack. Many have taken this statement to be a response to the ‘death threats’ associated with his alleged run-in with a gentleman associated with Ireland’s notorious Kinahan gang.
